《挥舞手中的棒棒糖》是我戏仿香港暴乱时的一张照片，我将警察与暴徒手中的武器转化为棒棒糖。把一种原有的严肃的政治事件降格到诙谐的艺术方式，呈现在绘画中。国家的权力基石是以暴力为基础的，解放军，武警等常常是国家暴力机器的执行者，在权力实施的过程中充当中坚角色。然而权力一旦离开了暴力，便无法长久。人性的恶的一面需要用暴力来压制，保证社会秩序，保护我们所爱的人，维护我们绝大多数人的利益。这样权力和暴力结合的那么紧密是否是很可怕呢。在遥远的未来，人们是否能将暴力做出转换呢？ "Waving the Lollipop in Your Hand" is a painting parodying a photo of the riots in Hong Kong. I transformed the weapons in the hands of police and rioters into lollipops, reducing the original serious political events to a humorous artistic way, presented in the painting. The cornerstone of country power is based on violence. The PLA and the armed police. are often the executors of the national violence machine and play a key role in the process of power implementation. However the power cannot last long without violence. The evil side of human nature needs to be suppressed by violence, which ensures social order, protects the people we love, and safeguards the interests of the vast majority. It can be terrible that power and violence are so closely combined. Can people transform violence to something like lollipop in the distant future?
