某種缺失1

陳焯南 香港中文大學藝術系 我的作品是要捕捉人的精粹。在我而言，一份關於「人」的創作，除了包含著畫中人物的靈魂之外，更重要的，是作者自己的靈魂―作者與被畫對象的關係，以及作者的自身思想。除了西方媒介，我亦有創作漫畫，同樣希望透過故事與角色塑造，把精神透過畫面傳遞給讀者。曾經舉辦多個聯展，亦與友人合資出版一本漫畫，於各大書店發售。CHAN Cheuk Nam Department of Fine Arts, The Chinese University of Hong Kong A Missing Part Charcoal on tracing paper, silk, wood light box and light bulb (set of 2) I found a photo of my parents which was the time they still loved each other. In this work, I tried to intervene in their memory which doesn’t exist in my mind. By that I wanted to experience the love between my parents For me, the spirit of a portrait is not just capturing the soul from the model, but also the artist which is the relation between them and the thought behind the artist. I mainly focus on western art, also I would engage in comics. It would be my greatest achievement if the story and the role done by me could show readers my spirit. I have been involved in few joint exhibitions, also published a comic book with partners which was on sale in book stores.
