楊榮燊 香港中文大學藝術系 作品以現代的人造物作為主題，描繪寂靜的自然，以及被黑夜包圍的人工燈光。置擬人化的人造物處於黑夜之中，以轉喻現代人的孤寂。啟蒙沒有照亮蒙昧，人工的燈光只能是太陽拙劣的代替品，在黑夜中更顯其孤獨無力。但，人工燈光卻的確是我們在夜裡唯一的依靠。YEUNG Wing San Department of Fine Arts, The Chinese University of Hong Kong The work personifies the artifacts with the long night as the background, as a metaphor of the loneliness of the modern people. We did not enlighten the night; we invented the night when we unchain this little earth from the sun. We then invented lanterns, as the poor substitute of the sun. They seems faint in the dark, still we can only cling to them.
