作品靈感來自攝影術語 “Blue Hour”，意指太陽已經落下水平線，但餘光還未消失，天空呈現冷暖過渡的色調的時間。作者嘗試以此攝影色調應用於傳統山水畫中，不以傳統畫法（染黑天空或以月亮點題）繪畫夜景，而是以藍色主調表現日落後入夜前的景色，希望以藍色營造出作者心中獨有的山水意境。 The artwork stems from the photographic term “Blue Hour”, which describes the phenomenon where the sky shows the gradation between cool and warm colours caused by the excess light from an already set sun. The artist wishes to adopt such a unique colour tone into traditional Chinese painting, whilst forgoing traditional methods of painting a night scenery (such as black nights or the presence of a moon). Using a colour associated with a sky before its night may rightfully reflect the artist\'s personal atmospheric landscape.
