刘美保的创作以概念作为主导，涉猎不同媒介，包括公共及社区艺术、装置、录像及混合媒介等范畴。她敏于观察城市里不显眼的事物，揭示出社会现象，以实验性的创作方式带出社会矛盾，引起反思。她亦身兼设计师，于2013年成立艺术团队，参与及组织艺术计划。曾于北京、伦敦及坦桑尼亚体验生活。 Lau Mei Po\'s practice is a completelyconceptually driven approach, her workoften encompasses installation, video,mix-media, public art and community art.She is sensitive to observinginconspicuous things in the city to thinkabout social phenomena, and to speak outabout social contradiction and reflectionwith experimental practice. Lau is adesigner and also founded a collectivein 2013 to participate and organize artproject. She has experienced living abroadin Beijing, London and Tanzania.
