栖之

“栖”，有栖息安宁、从容自适之意。作品以废弃泥料为基底，通过反复晒干、机械粉碎、水融重组的循环模拟地质沉积的风化与累积，烧制后将岩石风化肌理质感永久固化。卷曲蜿蜒的枝桠自缝隙中奋力迸发、肆意蔓延生长，成为承载地质起源的永恒印记。作品的形态借由这一系列重构过程中自然生成，既呈现出泥土在安定状态下流露的内在物性，以及泥土与大地之间深厚的根源联系。 The character "Xi" (Habitat) connotes a sense of peaceful dwelling and unhurried ease. The creation of this work starts with the intensive processing of recycled clay collected from used materials. Through repeated cycles of sun-drying, mechanical crushing, hydration and reconstitution, it simulates the natural weathering and accumulation processes in geological sedimentation. After reconfiguration and firing, the textural traces of rock weathering and mineral particles are permanently solidified. Curling, winding branches burst forth from the gaps and spread freely, becoming eternal imprints bearing witness to the material’ s geological origins. The form of the work takes shape through this series of reconstruction processes, revealing both the inherent physical properties of clay in a stable state and its profound, rooted connection with the earth.
