楊海美畢業於香港浸會大學視覺藝術院，其創作以混合媒介為主，致力以藝術尋找自身與世界及社會的關係，目前正研究有關華僑的移民歷史，希望藉此作為切入點，去訴說另類的香港故事。另外，楊氏曾經到德國交流半年及遊歷西歐各國，作品亦曾於香港及日本名古屋展出。 YANG Hoi Mei is graduated from Academy of Visual Arts, Hong Kong Baptist University in 2015. She basically works on various mediums, which ranged from hairs and nails to conventional medium, for example ceramic. YANG recently devoted to study the history of Chinese migration with the aim to tell another kind of Hong Kong’s story. She has been exchange student in Germany for half year and her works were also shown in Nagoya, Japan, as well.
