當我們以愛、和平、公平等核心價值來衡量人類的文明，但為什麼我們不能以同樣的價值去對待其他動物？人類中心功利者可能會說，因為動物的重要性不及人類自身，所以我們只需要考慮人類的利益就足夠了。但我相信在追求人類文明的情況下這絕對是一個錯誤的演繹。如果我們在考慮自身利益的同時我們就可以隨意利用其他的動物，那我們所重視的那些核心價值就只變成空談的詞語而沒有得到彰顯。在人類與動物的利益轉換過程中，我們付出了金錢或是時間來換取一道美味的餸菜；動物付出了生命，但牠們又得到了什麼？We concern among love, peace and equity as our core elements to value our civilization, then why couldn’t we contain the same value for the other animals? Utilitarian anthropocentric might say, because the value of the animals is not as important as human beings, so we only need to consider the benefits of human. However, I believe it is absolutely a wrong decision that we just consider our benefit so we exploit the other animals. In this process of benefit transfer, we paid money and time for a delicious meal, but the animals paid their lives for nothing.
